33. Brazilian (Lowland) Tapir, Manu Wildlife Centre
This is the largest mammal in South America, except this was a young female, reared as an orphan by staff at the lodge and then released back into the wild. Occasionally, she would return to the lodge to the delight of guests.
They like to bathe and swim - often with a great deal of splashing!
