18. Indian Flying Fox, Chambal River Sanctuary, Uttar Pradesh
Just after sunset they begin leaving their tree roost for a feeding site that
may be as far as 30mls away. They return about 2hrs before sunrise after
feeding on a wide variety of fruits, including figs, mangoes, guava
and neem, a tree native to India, whose seeds are dispersed by bats.
